Religiously speaking…

If we think it is wrong to do something, and yet, we go ahead and do it, we are actually inviting the devil by saying “Come here, devil!” (quietly in our heart so that nobody hears that.)

But when thing goes wrong, very wrong, we justify our doing by saying “Here comes the devil.” (so loud that we want everybody to hear that.)

We want to show others that ‘I didn’t invite the devil. It was the devil that came to me.’

I guess this is human.

Perhaps, the next time you hear someone says “Here comes the devil.” you roughly know what has happened before that.

Life is not that simple. It’s not that simple to know whether devil comes to you first or you invite devil first. However, one thing for sure: by saying ‘Here comes the devil.’ when things go wrong will not give you the true happiness.

Stop Doing. Start Thinking. Thinking Clearly Reduces Undesired Stress.
