Chapter 1: The Right To Be Rich

It is not possible to live a really complete or successful life unless one is rich. No man can rise to his greatest possible height in talent or soul development unless he has plenty of money… he must have many things to use (to develop in mind, soul, and body, i.e mental, spiritual, and physical unfoldment), and he cannot have these things unless he has money to buy them with.

No man ought to be satisfied with a little if he is capable of using and enjoying more… to be content with less in sinful.

(It’s in human nature that) we cannot help wanting to be all that we can be. Success in life is becoming what you want to be; you can become what you want to be only by making use of things, and you can have the free use of things only as you become rich enough to buy them.

There is nothing wrong in wanting to get rich. The desire for riches is really the desire for a richer, fuller, and more abundant life; and that desire is praiseworthy.

There are three motives for which we live; we live for the body, we live for the mind, we live for the soul…. and no one of the three can live fully if either of the others is cut short of full life and expression.

Desire is possibility seeking expression, or function seeking performance.

You should desire to be rich… You can render to God and humanity no greater service than to make the most of yourself.

[ Decoded ]

Being rich is not a sin. it is necessary to be rich to live a “complete” and “successful” life.

Being rich is THE KEY to enriching yourself physically, mentally, and spiritually with the purpose attaining the highest form of happiness – the position of being able to give cheerfully, generously and in great abundance to his loved ones and other noble purposes.

Attitude determines altitude.

To achieve financial success, you will have to start doing things differently, and in order to do that, you’d have to first think differently.

The very antithesis of wealth attraction, is wealth inhibition.

“I’ve been rich and I’ve been poor. Rich is better.” ~ Sophie Tucker

To make big money, have big enough “want to” and “need to”.

Make more money; so you can help more people. It also makes you more confident and enthusiastic.

Be rich -> Able and willing to give -> Highest form of Happiness

[ Side Note ]

Desire to be rich.

Make the most of yourself.

Unexpressed possibility and/or unperformed function lead to unsatisfied desire.

Live richer life. Live fuller life.

Desire = Possibility seeking expression, or Function seeking performance.

Chapter 2: There Is A Science of Getting Rich

It is an exact science of getting rich. There are certain laws which govern the process of acquiring riches, and once these laws are learned and obeyed by anyone, that person will get rich with mathematical certainty.

The ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing the things in a certain way.

It is a natural law that like causes always produces like effect. Any man who learns to do things in this certain way will infallibly get rich.

Getting rich is the result of doing things in a certain way.

  1. Getting rich is not a matter of environment.
  2. The ability to do things in this certain way is not due solely to the possession of talent.
  3. Getting rich is not the result of saving or thrift.
  4. Getting rich is not due to doing things which others fail to do.
  5. This certain way is not so difficult that only a few may follow it.
  6. Getting rich is not a matter of choosing some particular business or profession.

Getting rich involves the necessity of dealing with people and of being where there are people to deal with, and if these people are inclined to deal in the way you want to deal, so much the better.

No one is prevented from getting rich by lack of capital. No matter how poor you may be, if you begin to do things in the certain way you will begin to get rich and you will begin to have capital. The getting of capital is a part of the process of getting rich and is a part of the result which invariably follows the doing of things in the certain way.

If you have no capital, you can get capital. If you are in the wrong business, you can get into the right business. If you are in the wrong location, you can go to the right location.

You can do so by beginning in your present business and in your present location to do things in the certain way which always causes success.

You must begin to live in harmony with the laws governing the universe.

“Getting Rich” is a specific science governed by the universal/natural law of cause and effect. It states “For every effect, there is a specific cause.”

Getting rich is not an accident. Neither is it a miracle or a matter of pure luck.

By doing exactly what others have done to successfully achieve their goals, you are pretty much assured o similar results.

“As a man sows, so shall he reap.” ~ Good Book

“You can either be good at making money, or good at making excuses.”

Shifting the blame to external factors, and making excuses for a person’s results because of external factors, is not going to lead anybody anywhere. . .Wealth is attracted by the sheer act of taking full responsibility.

“Success requires no explanation; failure permits no alibis.”

“Are you pleased with your present place in the world? If your answer is yes, what’s your next port of call? If your answer is no, what are you going to do about it?”
~ Earl Nightingale

“Taking 100% responsibility means you acknowledge that you create everything that happens to you. It means you understand that you are the cause of all of your experience. . . You will have to give up blaming and complaining and take total responsibility for your life.” ~ W. Clement Stone to Jack Canfield

“You will continue to be un-prosperous as long as you depend on others to make you prosperous.”

“A lobster waits for the sea to come to him. If it does not come, he remains where he is and dies. . . The world is full of human lobsters: Men stranded on the rocks of indecision and procrastination.”
~ Dr Orison Swett Marden
