Foreword to Darn Easy
Work Half As Hard, Earn Twice As much,
While Living The Life of Your Dreams.
Make What You Do For A Living Both Fun and Easy
As You Increase Profit and Decrease Stress.
–
“If you’re one of those who believe that hard work and honesty, alone, will bring riches, perish the thought! It’s not true! Riches, when they come in huge quantities, are never the result of hard work! Riches come, if they come at all, in response to definite demands, based on the application of definite principles, and not by chance or luck.”
~ Napoleon Hill
–
You must demand it of yourself. Ask for it!
–
Write your goal on a card and put it in front of you. Look for ideas you can act on to reach your goal in the shortest time with the least amount of energy.
–
Enrich, inspire, and challenge yourself to be more, give more, learn more, share more, experience more.
–
Do something today your future self will thank you for.
–
I am going to choose to succeed. Failure isn’t an option.
–
“Are you willing to have your life be easy some of the time?”
“Are you willing to have your life be easy most of the time?”
“Are you willing to have your life be easy all the time?”
–
Making money isn’t the only thing that’s important. Your financial income needs to be supplemented with your emotional income.
–
Pay attention to your language. Your words are powerful engines for growth and change. They are energy in motion.
–
“What’s the greatest lesson you’ve ever learned about money?”
“How easy it is to make it.” Bob Proctor’s answer.
–
You are either growing or dying. Commit yourself to growth.
–
“Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at will change.”
~ Wayne Dyer
–
One day you will thank yourself because your business (or finances) will have benefited from your emotional investment, and the resulting dividends will last a lifetime.
Life Is Not Meant To Be Hard (5)
If only we took action . . .
–
James Hahn: “Hey, you have an opportunity to do something with your life.”
–
Hahn wrote down on sticky notes and put them everywhere. And before each tournament Hahn repeated a mantra: “I will putt great today/tomorrow. I will putt great today/tomorrow.”
–
Fortify your mind with positive thoughts, and that will translate into a heightened focus and skill level.
–
Shift your focus, exercise your choice to have a more positive attitude, take the necessary actions, and you will experience the ease of getting results you may never have dreamed possible.
–
Being a successful entrepreneur and business owner starts in your mind and with the beliefs and thoughts you choose to guide your decisions and your interactions with others.
Don’t Fight The Old, Build The New (7)
KEY word of this post: VISUALIZE
–
“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy,
not on fighting the old, but on building the new.”
~ Socrates
–
Every day, as we wake up, we have an opportunity to make a new decision about what we are going to focus on. What are we going to create today?
–
Project yourself into the place where you want to be. Visualize how you have achieved the goal.
–
Visualization exercise! You can either imagine the achievement of your goal, keeping it fixed in your mind and regularly reflecting on it as if it had already happened, or you can take an actual picture of it and keep that vision posted in front of you to reflect and meditate on.
–
The key thing is to take action toward your goal both in your mind and in your activities.
–
Visualization isn’t passive. It’s your mind taking action.
–
Don’t overplan to the point where you do nothing; you need to take action. That action should always begin with the completion of your goal fixed firmly in your mind.
–
Initiate whatever it is you want and need to do, even if it’s just taking little baby steps, to make some progress toward your goal. Every day you take a step forward, visualize the completion of the goal and feel what it will be like when that happens.
Make a Decision to Shift Your Energy to Ease (11)
KEY word of this post: SHIFT / SWITCH (to positive thinking)
–
“How can you sleep in the same bed with this really miserable guy and remain unaffected by it?”
“I just look at him as an example of what not to be like.”
–
When you’ve made a decision about what you want, that’s where and when things start to happen. You will begin to attract to you the money required to achieve your goal. That shift happens when you make the conscious decision, adopt that attitude of faith and commitment, and reach out to take the necessary action.
–
Whether you will achieve your goal is a choice, and it begins with your attitude.
–
When you wake up in the morning, you decide the day is going to be an easy day.
–
There is only one person who is creating chaos (difficulty, anxiety, etc.) in your life right now: you.
–
Every time you step back and choose ease, it flows.
–
Shifting is the starting point for all sustainable success.
–
A few techniques to keep you in alignment with shifting into ease of being:
- Find People Who Will Help You Shift (Switch)
- Surround Yourself With Positive, Like-Minded People
What you attract is really what you are. You do become who you surround yourself with. Refuse to work with people who are listless and uninspired. - Have Fun
Inject more joy into your life.
–
If you’re worried about what you’re going to do and how you’re going to perform, you are focused only on you. You’re not focused on what it is you want to accomplish.
–
The more you can inspire people to laugh, smile, and feel good about you, themselves, and life, the better that experience will be for them and you.
Philosophy Behind Any Success (17)
KEY word of this post: SERVE
–
“If you aren’t making a difference in other people’s lives,
you shouldn’t be in business – it’s that simple.”
~ Richard Branson
–
We all know people who will tell you all the reasons why you can’t do something. Just once, do what others say you can’t do, and you will never pay attention to their attempts to place limitations on you again.
–
Find something that will earn you a profit (or income) and generate emotional income from doing it. If you receive that emotional income, everything will fall into place and everything you desire will follow.
–
Commit to be of service to others (with your business or what you do). Make it your passion.
–
“How may I serve?” or “How may I be of service to you?” Most people are attracted to that idea.
–
Initiate a shift – to shift into ease right now. “I’m going to have my life be easy. My life is easy right now.”
–
If you want to grow your business, make it something that’s going to help your clients and create a relationship between you and them. For example, give something that is of value for free. Or, regularly send something to them to stay in touch.
From Mediocre to Magnificent (23)
Always keep in mind that people need basic and simple terms to relate to and apply. Explain your process at a fifth-grade level.
–
You see yourself either in abundance or wallowing in debt. You will attract more of whatever it is you choose to see.
–
If you are in debt, it’s even more important to focus on abundance and the good that is coming to you. Then take action. Do whatever it is that you can do today to improve your situation for tomorrow.
–
Cultivate an abundance mentality.
–
Peggy: “I know your goal is to make 20 million dollars this year. How are you going to do it?”
Avi: “Easily.”
–
What Avi is doing:
- wearing the biggest smile
- attracting business into his life
- getting out there and taking action
- waking up early in the morning
- knocking on people’s doors to drum up business
- doing whatever it takes to earn an incredible income
- succeeding at it
–
Condition yourself with new positive habit patterns: go from “No, I can’t” to “Yes, I can.” Keep doing it until it becomes an automatic response.
–
When you are feeling doubt or fear rise, do something in that moment that will further your cause or your business. Ask, “What can I do right now that’s going to take me one step farther in the direction I need to be going?”
–
Avoid becoming scattered. Scattered behaviors mirror a scattered mind. Step back and make that choice to shift into ease when you find yourself getting scattered.
–
The easiest way to clear your head: write down all the important tasks that you need to do the next day. That way, you don’t have to worry about them. You don’t dream about them. You don’t fret and worry. You go to sleep with ease.
–
Practice the power of gratitude. Give thanks. Connecting to gratitude is so powerful that it taps into the law of vibration and law of attraction, which would bring more of the good into your life.
–
Have a gratitude rock. Every morning (or night), hold it and think of everything that you are grateful. Experience gratitude all the time, every day.
–
Have a goal. Have a vision. Keep picturing that vision.
Making Money Is a Habit You Develop (29)
KEY word of this post: HABIT
–
If you look at successful people closely, you will notice they are in the habit of making money.
–
Make making money and attracting money a habit.
–
Abundance mentality: If you’re not making money, find ways to make money.
–
People will line up behind people who have a vision. Go with the current of making money. Constantly invest to learn more to deliver more. If you’re always focused on making money, you will make that happen.
–
Practice a belief system built around how easy it is to make money.
–
Napoleon Hill once said that when money comes in quantities known as “big money,” it flows to the one who accumulates it as easily as water flows downhill. This is in alignment with knowing and having that ease and practicing a belief system that helps make it so.
–
Hill says that there exists a great unseen stream of power that is like a river except that one side flows in one direction, carrying all who get into that side of the stream onward and upward to wealth. The other side flows in the opposite direction, carrying all who are unfortunate enough to get trapped in it to misery and poverty.
–
You’ve got to see yourself living in abundance, knowing that it’s easy to attract money to you, that it’s yours for the asking and the taking.
Reality Check (33)
Be a dreamer and a doer.
–
Positive thinking by itself does little to advance, much less achieve, your goals. In fact, merely thinking or dreaming about your future makes you less likely to achieve anything.
–
“Just dreaming, detached from an awareness of reality, actually saps the energy we need to preform the hard work of meeting the challenges we face in real life.”
~ Gabriele Oettingen
–
Our wishful thinking needs to be accompanied by a realistic assessment of the obstacles that could stand in our way.
–
Mental Contrasting (Reality Check): Dream our dreams, but then visualize the personal barriers that prevent us from achieving them. When we perform such mental contrasting, we actually gain energy to take action. And when we go farther and specify the actions we intend to take as obstacles arise, we energize ourselves even more.
–
Positive fantasies don’t automatically translate into motivated behaviors. You must add strong determination and commitment to your own visual process of implementing your wishes by identifying likely obstacles and the behavior you need to circumvent them.
Choose Your Words Carefully (35)
Watch out! Be really aware of your self-talk (or talk to other people). Your language can make a difference. Your thoughts can transform your reality. Your words can become self-fulfilling prophecies. Your words are so powerful. They are energy in motion.
–
“If you’re nervous before you get up there (on stage), what you’re focusing on is what people will think of you; you’re not focusing on how you can help them.”
~ Bob Proctor
–
Be consciously aware of what you’re doing to yourself. Ask, “What can I do to help somebody? What message can I relay that will take somebody to a better place?”
–
Focus not on the discomfort you feel but on what you can do that is of value.
Prevent Self-Sabotage (39)
Awareness is the necessary starting point.
- Pay attention to your language, your thoughts and feelings.
- Switch. Make a shift (to positive).
- Tell yourself it’s going to feel great. It will be easy. You’ll feel grateful. You’ll feel joyful. You’ll be celebrating.
–
Visualize and imagine your obstacles are melting away.
–
Power Life Script: Write out a script in which you visualize your goals and having achieved them. Record the script in present tense and play it back to yourself every day.
The Universe Is Ready For You (47)
We can’t dictate to the universe exactly how things are going to come to us. We can only look for ways and seize the opportunities when they are presented. We can stay open to the means, and we should take some action.
–
If you make a commitment, follow through. If you don’t have that certainty about yourself, buying a house without any money is probably not a good idea. But if you know you’ll find a way to follow through, you’re going to make the decision to follow through.
–
You don’t need to know exactly how it’s going to be done when you visualize a dream. You just need to commit to doing it. When you commit to doing it, you will find the way.
–
You can have easy goals. Getting into the practice of achieving small goals conditions you with confidence to achieve higher goals.
–
Beware of scarcity conditioning. Switch to “Hey, you know what, the universe is ready to respond to you. Tell the universe what you truly and deeply want.”
–
Stay goal-focused (on the good). See the good. Whatever you’re prepared to receive is what the universe is prepared to give. Many people think the worst and are plagued by doubt, and if that’s you, that’s what you will attract.
–
Animate your vision and goal with concerted action and effort.
Your Success Is Guaranteed (55)
KEYWORD of this post: FAITH in SUCCESS
–
“To guarantee success, act as if it were impossible to fail.”
~ Dorothea Brande
–
“All I do every day is think about what I can do today to make a deal happen today . . . to get me one step closer to my goal . . . to make a difference in my tomorrow?”
–
- Don’t allow yourself to get muddled by details.
- Every day, focus on accomplishing something positive that day toward your goal.
- Make every day the best possible day to make a difference in your life (business).
- Make “My success is absolutely guaranteed” into a mantra you repeat every day.
- You won’t have trepidation.
- You will be fearless.
- You will have faith in the outcome.
Get Out of Your Own Way (57)
ROSE: Regaining One’s Self-Esteem
–
Going from victim to victor:
- Get out of your own way
- Find out what people need, have passion, make a difference in people’s life
- Release what holds you back
- Drive your financial income with emotional income
- Cultivate the law of compensation
–
You are the only one standing in the way of building a successful business and income. Step forward and take action. Action is the foundational key to all success.
–
Cultivate a positive mindset. Develop an awareness of your thoughts and subsequent actions. Reflective meditation every day will help create that awareness.
–
Surround yourself with people who encourage you to be better and do better.
–
Your limitations are just the limits of your own thinking.
–
“If there is a path not paved yet, they will take it.
They don’t fear of rocks in the road.”
–
Be a passionate crusader for causes. Be a passionate entrepreneur.
–
“I learned to listen for the opportunities and the call,
to be ready to respond, and to not overthink that response.”
–
We have TWO voices within us. Don’t allow the negative one to guide us. Nurture the positive one that says, “You are magnificent and brilliant. There isn’t anything you can’t accomplish. Have no fear.”
–
Make taking action a way of life.
–
Successful people make a habit of doing things that others don’t like to do or won’t do. The energy we dedicate and expend in taking action will relief us from the discomfort that comes from these habits.
–
You are in control of your emotions. They’re like switches. (SSS = Stop. Switch. Smile.)
–
Natural law of universe: We can request something to fulfill a goal, and we can bring that experience into our lives. It’s like a 24/7 truck shop… place your orders and have them delivered.
–
Why many people aren’t reaching their goals?
- They have desires, wishes, prayers, but not committed to their goals. Do something, and then put full trust and faith in the outcome.
- They set a big goal. They declare themselves finished half way through.
- They simply give up when they don’t see results quickly enough.
- They pay too much attention to the negative things people say. Move toward your dreams, prove them wrong, and more people will jump on board.
- Their goals are not really clear. Be aware of your thoughts and actions.
Coming soon . . .
